Protean is an Australian firm, with a high output, compact, wave energy conversion device.

The device has the potential for supply of both electricity and desalinated sea water derived from the conversion of wave energy to electricity. It is easily deployable and environmentally friendly.

Technoplex has worked with Protean to present their technology to all the California and Hawaiian publicly-owned utilities, as well as ports and water agencies, and private sector strategic and investment partners. Technoplex also works directly with the Australian government and Australian states to assist promising technology companies.
