Australia/Western Australia Technology Program in Los Angeles

Bill Lyte has extensive experience in Australia. Since 2003 he has been working with the Australian federal government and Australian states to support their technology initiatives.

In particular, Mr. Lyte has worked with the Government of Western Australia (WA) to showcase their technology resources. He has organized conferences featuring the Premier of Western Australia at the Business Technology Center, and visits by their dignitaries to the Ports. In 2008, he arranged visits by a delegation of WA green technology firms to major public agencies including both ports. The delegation also participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony of the first Port of L.A. technology incubator office. The Western Australian government will be opening a technology office at the Business Technology Center in 2009.

In addition, Mr. Lyte is a speaker at the Australian Governments’ green technology forum in January, 2009.
